Throughout my read, I really, really, REALLY love the manga. At some point reaching Akechi being a party member of the Phantom Thieves, I’ve grown an interest in this match-up despite not having read Berserk and by that time of the interest.ĭuring my research phase (ew vs debating, how cringe of me to do), I finally decided to go read Berserk if I’ll like it and for researching it because I was doing Akechi vs Griffith as a written fight back then ironically enough. Once I have finally finished the game, he became my favourite character in the series. When I finally went beyond the boss on my new playthrough and caught up with Akechi, I grew somewhat interested in him. So, way back in May 2019, I decided to play Persona 5 from the start as I thought I didn’t know what I was doing when I first got into it and was stuck on Madarame’s boss back in 2017, deleting my old save.

So, here I am, now a grown-ass man explaining why I adore this match-up so freaking much.Īnd just to get things clear: I will not be talking about either combatants’ alternative match-ups, it’s awkward to talk about some of the characters from a series I haven’t touched or experienced yet in full detail and I would rather have my post be about why I like this fight, though I will give my vague opinion about some of their alternatives I like. This is made just to express my love for the match-up and convince people why it works so beautifully well. Today, I thought I decided to post possibly my final topic on this site is me talking about my most wanted DEATH BATTLE match-up to become an episode: Goro Akechi from Persona 5 vs Griffith from Berserk.
